Careington Attends the British American Business Council (BABC) annual Transatlantic Business Conference

Careington International Corporation is pleased to announce that CEO Barbara Williams will be attending the British American Business Council (BABC) annual Transatlantic Business Conference in London on May 11 and 12, 2016. Attending with Williams will be Bruce Bernstein, Assistant Vice President of Global Sales Development with Careington's UK affiliate Munroe Sutton, and Head of Munroe Sutton's Business Development division, Robert Malvasi.

The BABC promotes business exchanges between the UK and U.S. with more than 20 chapters throughout the U.S. This year's BABC theme is Future Cities: Smart, Sustainable and Social, and will address specific challenges cities and businesses face in the changing international market. Cities such as Frisco that have experienced rapid growth and prosperity often attract talent that generates significant economic output. Urbanization also brings challenges such as infrastructure assessments and risk management. Held in London's stunning News UK building, senior government figures and significant business leaders will address cutting-edge solutions during the two-day conference.

Careington, headquartered in Frisco, Texas, has been providing clients and consumers access to affordable care through industry-best, non-insured, discount dental and other health, wellness and lifestyle consumer products and services for 35 years. Munroe Sutton, Careington's UK affiliate established in 2010, delivers a similar discount dental and optical product line to clients and customers throughout the UK.

"Understanding what makes a successful growth model for cities, and addressing the role businesses play in this growth is a cornerstone of development for Careington and Munroe Sutton," said Williams. "I am looking forward to exploring and learning innovative approaches from other influential city and business leaders in this international forum. Effectively being able to navigate future technologies as well as potential challenges makes this an exciting opportunity for Careington and Munroe Sutton."

Williams strives to encourage Careington and Munroe Sutton employees to grow and enhance their trade whether through commerce, civic or philanthropic opportunities. As CEO of Careington and Munroe Sutton, Williams has successfully led her teams in becoming innovative business model leaders in both markets. Williams and her team will gain knowledge and discuss opportunities, challenges and implications of rising urbanization for both business and policy.
